Incoming Exchange Students
The Global Liaison Program
This program connects engineering exchange students visiting Penn State with an engineering student during their semester or year abroad. This program promotes intercultural awareness, global friendships, and a sense of community. This program offers a meaningful experience for those interested in connecting with other globally minded students and expanding one’s global network.
The ultimate goal of the program is to improve cooperation and mutual understanding among countries and cultures and create an environment where exchange students who are new to the College of Engineering feel welcome at Penn State.
Participants will be placed in small groups, led by the Coordinator of International Experiences, and invited to fun events throughout the semester. Including our annual exchange student welcome dinner.
