Religion, Spirituality, and Faith

The freedom of religious and spiritual practices can vary depending on the host culture. It is important to do your research and respect the religious and spiritual beliefs of your host country. If the religion and/or spiritual beliefs differ from your own, it is important to keep an open mind. Not only does it allow for greater understanding of the culture, it also gives you an opportunity to reflect on your own religious and or spiritual beliefs. Additional resources at Penn State to explore religious and spiritual support can be found at the Student Affairs website for religious and spiritual community.
