Africa Semester Programs

CIEE: Cape Town, Arts and Sciences (South Africa)

Students in AE, ChE, CE, EE, or ME have the opportunity to take major and elective coursework at the University of Cape Town on this semester-long CIEE program. In addition, students can choose from a variety of courses offering a distinctive African perspective. Students have the option of living in a homestay or in dorms on campus. This program also allows students to experience the unique multicultural city of Cape Town with its beautiful natural attractions and delightful climate.

South Africa. IES: Cape Town, Engineering & Science

Students from various majors such as ME, IE, BE, CE, CMPSC, CMPEN, EE, and ChE can take major courses in Cape Town, South Africa. Students enroll in classes at the top-ranked university in South Africa. The University of Cape Town (UCT), which is also South Africa’s leading research institution makes UCT the perfect place to check off requirements for your major.
