Engineering Travel Grant

College of Engineering Travel Grants range from $500 to $2,500 and are to support students participating in Penn State-approved international programs. All engineers traveling abroad on approved Penn State programs are eligible.

The following criteria are not required but may help your grant application:

  • You are studying engineering abroad
  • You will take a foreign language abroad
  • You have taken ENGR 111
  • You will study in non-traditional locations
  • You have clear motivations and justifications for program selection

Grant applications for summer study abroad are due February 1; applications for fall study abroad are due March 1; applications for spring study abroad are due September 15. All applicants will be notified regarding their application before the study abroad commitment deadline.
